Promotion (Patrick K. Regan)

2Lt. Tremblay said:

Everyone in leadership has a different path through the ranks and billets and whatnot. Everyone has a different story in how they got where they are. In Cpl. Regan’s case he found himself as the ASL of a squad that had been a bit of a revolving door of leadership for a while. After a few months as ASL he revolved into the SL spot and decided to block the door shut. This is no easy feat. Stopping a squad in freefall and creating a foundation takes time and dedication. Since then he has planted his flag and gathered or held onto what what he’s had to to keep S1 alive and to even thrive. He’s been a much needed presence of stability and continuity for his squad and for myself and 2Lt Tremblay. He is a prominent member of FP1, and is frequently guesting and gathering his small but tall squad, and the rest of FP1 with him as he goes. Oh yeah and he’s the chief of medical corps on the side too. Cpl. Regan really is a hard worker and has been a great benefit to FP1, and the 29th as a whole. To recognize this I think it’s only right to promote him to the rank of Sgt. Congratulations Sgt. Regan and well done!
