Six Months of Service (Adam S. Capwell)

November of 2020. As most people were celebrating the end of a truly wild year, somebody else was celebrating the start of something great. PFC Capwell, then Pvt., had just entered DP3S1. So great has his first sixth months with us been that, when I sat down to write this quote, I instinctively went, “Oh, has it really been a year already?” Imagine my surprise when I found out it had only been sixth months! Capwell’s tenure here has been formative, to say the least. His efforts to earn PFC quickly gave way to intense crewman practice which has recently given way to focused DBotS prep. Capwell has earned a place for himself in the squad as one of those guys that you just can’t imagine not having around. Recently, along with his flying and DBotS practice, Capwell has also taken a position as an Adjutant Monitor. Now he is giving back to the unit beyond DP3S1. It has been an extremely impressive first AOCC for Capwell, and I’m genuinely excited to see what happens next. Congratulations.
