PFC Donceel – as seems to be the tradition for the AoCCs I write – first joined in FP2S2, back when I was still a squad member. He stayed for about five months (if the AoCC timing is anything to go by) before having to leave for reasons beyond his control, only to pop back up under my command in FP2S1. So, despite his bouncing around, he’s been in my squad for as long as he’s been in the 29th, and I honestly have nothing bad to say about him. It’s my understanding that he’s gone through some personal things while a member of the unit, but I never saw it affect his performance or behavior. I’m glad to see him back in my squad, and I’m pleased to be able to award PFC Donceel his first AoCC!
