With the awarding of his 6th AOCC, PFC Holtz has passed his two and half years with the 29th. I can happily say that PFC Holtz has spent the entirety of that time as a stalwart and valued member of DP3S2 and in my tenure as squad leader of S2. During his time with us, PFC Holtz has formed himself into a formidable rifleman and a deadly CE. He has dedicated himself to his craft, becoming an expert with his explosive tools. Besides his attributes in the 29th, PFC Holtz himself is someone I’ve come to know as a fellow lover of history and older firearms. I can find it easy to speak with him on random topics like obscure past historical conflicts and unique older rifles we’ve purchased or are considering buying.
