Cpl. Forest came to EP3S3 a little under a year ago to become the next in my long line of ASLs. He immediately stepped up and took on his new role as if it was meant for him. Despite having some differences in leadership styles and strategy, we meshed really well and were able to hone EP3S3 into a force to be reckoned with, even when outnumbered, and brought the squad all the way to BBOTS finals. You’d think with Forest being as good of a leader as he is that he’d suffer a bit in gameplay skills as seems inevitable with most leadership, but nope. Forest can frequently be found making big flanks and picking people off or sometimes he even just finds a nice cozy spot to lay down with his AR and destroy anything in his path. It’s been a great run having Cpl. Forest with us in S3 and we’ll hopefully see more of him down the road. Congratulations on your 5th AoCC!
