PFC Vermillion, the squad’s “young guy,” isn’t the same person he was when he first joined. At first, he was timid and a little bit clumsy, but has molded perfectly into a fine soldier to be reckoned with. Not only has his performance on the battlefield improved steadily during his time in the unit, but he’s broken out of his shell and became a core member of the squad’s culture. He’s one of the first to bust out memes in the group chat that makes everyone smile, and isn’t afraid to crack a sly joke while under fire. He’s also shown great dedication by stepping up into a clerk position, in which he does an amazing job getting things done in a timely and efficient manner. In the past two years he’s matured into a great guy that we can all call a friend, and we all look forward to seeing where he goes from here.
